Zene vs SE Visible

SE Visible is SE Ranking's standalone AI-visibility product. It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode daily, and it collects "real AI responses using a browser and graphical user interface, not simulated answers". If you're comparing it with Zene, both are self-serve trackers with published prices - the differences are engines, volume and what happens after the scan.

In one line: SE Visible is volume and Google coverage, Zene is a free start and drafted fixes. SE Visible gives you hundreds of prompts and Google's AI surfaces. Zene starts free, includes Claude and Grok on Pro, and turns each gap into a prioritized action with drafts.

Choose Zene if…

  • You want a free plan that keeps going after a trial would end - no card
  • You want Claude and Grok tracked today, included in Pro at $19/mo
  • You manage several brands: Growth covers 5 brands for $49/mo; SE Visible Basic covers 3 projects for $99
  • You want drafted fixes (brief, FAQ, schema, llms.txt) and an outreach list after each scan

Choose SE Visible if…

  • Google AI Overviews and AI Mode matter to you - SE Visible tracks both; Zene doesn't yet
  • You want answers collected through the engines' real browser interfaces
  • You need more prompts: 200 on Basic, up to 1,000 on Plus, with unlimited users - Zene tops out at 75 questions
  • You track many countries or languages - SE Visible lists 7 countries and 5 languages

Facts as of October 4, 2026, from SE Visible's public pages (sources below). Both products ship fast - verify current details at visible.seranking.com/ and on our pricing page.

Where SE Visible is stronger

Google coverage, collection method and volume. SE Visible tracks Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, which Zene doesn't track yet, and it collects answers through a real browser interface rather than an API - SE Visible contrasts this with "simulated answers". Its plans scale to 1,000 prompts and 10 projects, every plan has unlimited users, and it reports sentiment and source domains grouped by category across 7 countries and 5 languages. An API is part of the product.

Where Zene is different

Zene starts free and stays free on ChatGPT and Gemini, while SE Visible offers a 10-day trial (a third-party roundup likewise groups SE Ranking with trial-based ChatGPT trackers rather than free tiers). Pro includes Claude and Grok today - SE Visible lists Claude as "coming soon" and we didn't find Grok on its list - and Growth covers 5 brands for $49. On Pro, every scan ends in a prioritized action plan with drafts: a content brief, FAQ copy, schema JSON-LD and an llms.txt, plus cited sources where competitors appear. We didn't find content drafting in SE Visible's published features.

Pricing

Zene: Free, Pro $19/month, Growth $49/month, Agency $99/month ($190/$490/$990 yearly), in USD. SE Visible lists Basic at $99 a month ($79.20 billed annually), Core at $189 and Plus at $355 on its site. A third-party review mentions an AI Search add-on inside the core SE Ranking suite from $71.20 a month; we could not confirm that on seranking.com.

How to choose

If you need AI Overviews and AI Mode with hundreds of prompts, SE Visible is the stronger fit. If you want to start free, cover Claude and Grok, and get the fixes drafted, start with Zene.
