Terms of Service

The service

Zene is a generative engine optimization (GEO) tool: it tracks whether AI assistants - ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok - mention and recommend a brand, benchmarks that against competitors, and produces a prioritized action plan. AI answers are probabilistic and change over time; Zene measures and reports them, but cannot guarantee any particular ranking, mention or outcome.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Zene. In particular, don't:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or track a brand you have no legitimate reason to track;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service or its providers;
• resell or white-label the service except as expressly permitted by your plan;
• use the product to generate deceptive content or to manipulate third-party platforms in violation of their rules.

Plans, billing & cancellation

Zene offers a free plan and paid plans (Pro, Growth and Agency), billed monthly or yearly in USD. Payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to Polar's terms. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings or the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We'll give reasonable notice of price changes.

Your content & our IP

You keep ownership of the data you put into Zene (your brands, questions and settings). You grant us the license needed to process that data to provide the service. Zene - its software, design, and the scores, reports and recommendations it generates - remains our intellectual property; we grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use it while your account is active.

Third-party services

Zene relies on and links to third parties (the AI engines it queries, Polar, Google sign-in and others). We're not responsible for their services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

Disclaimers

Zene is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any visibility result is complete or will improve your standing in any AI answer.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zene won't be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Zene and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to Zene, our providers or others.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, give notice. These terms are governed by the laws of our place of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
